Our players you'd hate if they were on other teams

Someone just said we'd hate Schilling if he were on another team, which got me thinking about this.

I think I'd hate

Brady

possibly PP

BBD

possibly Perk

JD Drew somewhat

possibly Varitek

I guess that's it.

I don't feel like too many Patriots draw too much attention to themselves.

Probably Eddie House because I wouldn't respect him as an undersized SG who can really only shoot 3s.
But he's just hit so many shots for us (including many clutch shots) I can't help but love him.

Absolutely nobody. Don't get me wrong, I love my New England teams, but I think it is silly to hold a grudge against anyone when following sports is just for our entertainment. The bottom line of pro sports is the money. If someone (even a hometown hero) signs somewhere else I liken it to a coworker transferring to another region because a better job opportunity lay there. Oh well, maybe I am too pacifistic.

Ha good question- I think Wallace, Garnett, Perkins, Rondo, Pierce and Eddie House lol.  I tend to dislike the more demonstrative players in the league in general.  I prefer players with Duncan and Wade's approach.

Anyways I'm happy they all play for the Celts though lol!

I hate Schilling. I hate Brady, but only because he is on the Pats. Deep down, I don't really hate him.

I might dislike Pierce. Not sure about anyone else. Pierce is a prima donna. There are few players that I dislike in the NBA. Perhaps just Kobe, maybe Bowen (for the leg kicks - not cool). AI after last year. Formerly Marbury. Starting to dislike Mo Williams. Can't think of anyone else. I don't see anyone on the Celts as being comparable to those guys apart from Pierce.

I think most of the Red Sox, but especially Youk and Papelbon...

For the Celtics, definitely Perk and Rondo and probably Pierce...

I would probably still hate Harrison (even though he retired) for the Pats...

And why would I really hate any Bruins?

Hey, I love all Boston teams but I'm just being realistic. We're very good, but we're also very hatable. In particular, I feel that the Cs and Pats are extremely easy to hate. The Sox have had their share of recent success, but they have a lot of even-keeled, respectable guys on the roster right now. Papi is under the cloud of the roid scandal now, but he's always been a giant teddy-bear. Pedroia should be respected like Sox fans respect Jeter, Bay and JD have no personality, Jacoby (from the opposing fans I've talked to) seems to be liked by all, and Lowell's a flat out nice guy. Maybe you could hate Beckett, but certainly not Lester or probably any other guy on the staff besides Paps.

Yeah that was me that said that about Schilling.  Honestly, if he was still playing, he'd probably be #1 on my list.  He makes Papelbon look introspective and contemplative. 

On the C's Perk and KG would definitely be pretty high up there.  Perk is a rough and KG is loud and annoying. 

On the Sox, Papi's steroid scandal doesn't help.

On the Pats, I don't think Brady's that hated: I think most guys wish they were him.  Rodney Harrison would've been on that list if he was still playing.  Bellichick undoubtedly is #1 though.

Pats: not brady....i dont see anything he has done to bring hate,,,not overly broadcast in commercials like manning and not a jerk like TO...i see brady as jeter, you have to respect what he does, on and off the field  ....if any Pat, i would say Bellicick...maybe Welker b/c id be like "why cant we stop this little dude?", also one of my favs

Sox: too easy, Pap and Youk...not even debatable.

Celts: my fav player, but Rondo....he made a lot of enemies this year.  I can also see haters for Perk, PP, and KG.

none of our guys.   I like them all, there is a reason why they are in Boston playing with the Celtics.    Sure I used to root against Sheed with the ref arguing, always liked him as a person though because he has personality.

Not many players bug me, but Rasheed Wallace is one of them.  They're a pretty easy team to root for.
