Tony Allen... Oh, wait.  :-\

Going to say the exact same thing...  although ironically, I WOULD love Tony Allen to *be* on another team,

If I wasn't a fan of New England teams, I'd hate the following:

Patriots:  No-one.  Maybe Belicheck, but I very much respect competence, so it'd be tough to hate him.

Redsox:  Sox Fans (first and foremost.  they even annoy me a lot now, and I'm one of them!), Youklis, Ortiz, JD Drew.

Celtics:  Rondo (He flops, has that high pitch voice, and is a "pest" on the court), and BBD (although, admittedly, I don't like him now).

I love that New Yorkers hate Dustin Pedroia.  Thats the ultimate respect!  He makes you think you can do anything if you try hard enough, I guess it would be easy to hate him if you can dream then he smacks a 2 run double to send you home with a loss.

Maybe the same can be said for Eddie House.  He just makes you dream that you can shoot like that on the playground, but if your the opposition there is nothing you can do to stop him when his shots are falling!

I think that NYer's hatred for Pedroia parallels New Englanders' hatred for Jeter.  Both are just very hard-nosed players that produce when it counts most.

Someone just said we'd hate Schilling if he were on another team, which got me thinking about this.

I think I'd hate

Brady

possibly PP

BBD

possibly Perk

JD Drew somewhat

possibly Varitek

I guess that's it.

I don't feel like too many Patriots draw too much attention to themselves.

That's whack.  Hating on Brady or PP?  Come on, that's straight up jealousy hatred.  Hating a guy because he's good - that's the lamest form of sports-inspired hatred there is.  I would never say I hate Derek Jeter b/c I respect the guy.  I hate the team he plays for and I don't like him for it, but he's a pro.  Just like Brady or Pierce.  I think anyone who says otherwise has issues.  You gotta have a reason for hating a player beyond they are constantly successful, or firery, or competitive, or whatever.  IE Alex Rodriguez is a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.-bag on the field, that's been established.

I can safely say that there isn't a player on the Celtics I would hate if they were on another team.  I have a mild dislike of Tony Allen, and he's on the Celts, if he weren't, I wouldn't give a [dang] about him.

Rondo, hands down. He's a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.bag, and he said that his favorite activity is shopping.

I'm never a fan of players where things seem to come too easy to them. I didn't like Jordan for example.

I'm also not always a fan of players that can't lead a team to victory themselves so they have to team up with other guys to get it done.

Why would everyone hate Rondo and Perk?  They're two of my favorite guys in the league.
Also, what's wrong with Paul and KG?

Ask Chicago fans why they would hate Rondo.  Perkins talks a lot of smack, and is always ****ing to the refs/making faces/complaining as if he's never done anything wrong in a game.

In general, Pierce isn't high on the hate scale, but many people think he's over-dramatic (wheelchair incident).

You have to ask about KG?  Just re-read this thread and you'll know why.
I don't really see how those 4 guys are any different from anyone else in the league.  Do you guys hate everyone who commits a flagrant foul or complains about a play or is loud?
I can understand why Perk's complaining could annoy some people, but hating him for it would be a little extreme.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Perk is one of the worst when it comes to complaining. As soon as a whistle is blown he automatically gets into complain mode, even if the whistle wasn't on him, or if he was called for something blatant. I find it irritating, and I like Perk.

PP is a bragger. He likes to talk about how good he is. That is one of the reasons people don't like him. He is also a trash talker on the court (which I am fine with) and had that bad Olympic experience.

Rondo is irritable and always has a contemptuous look on his face. His deadpan interviews are painful to watch. But I don't see fans hating Rondo. Just possibly teammates. Reminds me of how Kobe treats his teammates, except Kobe is a great player.

I guess that's fair enough.
I wouldn't hate em.

I hold no hate for Jeter.  There's PLENTY of hatred in my heart for A-Rod and Posada and a lot of those guys, but Jeter's busted his balls for years and always seems to have been a high-class guy.  I can respect him; A-Rod, not so much.

As to Paps; he's an idiot.  I mean, he's our guy so I root for him, but he's a complete tool.

This may have been said but....

I'd hate all of them because they wouldn't be playing for a Boston team.

And I know hate is a strong word.  I'd hate them.  I am rabid. :-X
