in the last 30 years, how many players have been drafted by both a basketball team, and a team from another major sport, and decided not to play basketball?

I would have to think none, with the state of rookie contracts in the NBA versus other professional sports (football especially).

That is teh correct answer. No player has ever spurned an NBA contract as a rookie to pursue another sport.

How many players have left the NBA and played at least one season in another professional sport?

Mark Hendrickson is one
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Jordan - and didn't Wilt try pro volleyball for awhile?  Don't know if that counts.

I dunno, apparently Wilt is in the HOF for the International Volleyball Association.  And it was by far the greatest co-ed volleyball league of the mid- to late-70s!

I poop a lot.  And I looked up the specifics on Wilt, but I knew he'd tried volleyball at one point.  And not to get all braggy but I was on my college's Quiz Bowl team  ;D

Here's a pretty easy one AND a super-tough one in the same package:

Who's the youngest player to be named to the All-NBA first team?

Second part:

Who was the prior record holder?

First part correct, super-tough second part incorrect.  Good guess though.  I doubt anyone'll get it without looking it up to be honest (I had to) but I'll leave it out there for a bit.

Charlie Scott won a title with the Cs, and Artis Gilmore backed up the Chief.
