  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
This player is one of two first overall picks to win sixth man of the year, but the only one to also win Most Improved Player.

Bill Walton?
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Dr J is incorrect for my ABA/NBA trivia question.

For the consecutive 2000 points seasons, is it Karl Malone.

Kee-rect!  TP.  Karl had 11 seasons in a row, which was really only broken cause of the 50 game lockout year.  He then had one more after that.

Now here's a really tricky one - I mentioned Jordan was tied for 3rd longest.  Whose record did Malone break (and he's still currently 2nd)?

He is the other one, but not the correct answer

The only other 1st overall pick to win 6th man that i can think of is Danny Manning, but I don't think he was MIP, was he?

RE: Danny Manning

Yes he was. You're welcome for the water cooler fact. It works great as a pickup line too (to John Hollinger)!

Are you sure about that?  I just checked wikipedia and they don't have him listed.

Playing off IP's question:

Who is the only undrafted player to win both the MIP and 6th man awards in the NBA?

AHHHH Crap! I confused trivia questions...earlier, Pervis Ellison. He won MIP. More TP's as penance.

Nope.  Somehow Ben never won MIP.
