  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Born in Alabama, raised in Michigan, college in Syracuse, never left the Eastern Conference.

Often referenced as one of the worst "coulda been" stories out there, never really realized his potential.

Derrick Coleman?

Bingo! Someone else wanna ask a question or do I need to keep making up ones about players from the 90's?

Big man, had a 15 year NBA career. At one point traded so often he played for 5 teams in three seasons. Won a gold medal playing for Bob Knight. Former Celtic, but I wouldn't know, I don't really remember.

You don't remember this guy?

Quote
Joey K was well regarded throughout Celtic Nation for his tenacious defense and lack of offensive skill.  With the removal of Greg Kite off the roster, Kleine was brought in to continue the Celtic tradition of unimpressive white big men.  Relegated to the bench, Kleine was also useful for his six fouls he could administer to the opposing centers in the league.  Here’s to you Joe Kleine!

Interesting Factoid:  If you guys have a chance to visit Phoenix, AZ make sure you go to Majerle’s Sports Bar and order the official Joe Kleine Chicago Style Burger…highly recommended.

I have a question.

Name the first team and year that a 60 win team didn't go to the NBA Finals and who won it all that year?

Was it the Celtics in 67 when that buzzsaw Sixers team broke the championship streak?  Sixers won it all as well.

The 80's Celtic team that won 68 games and lost to the Lakers in the finals... can't remember the year?... (Hope it isn't).

Lol... I think I got confused with 80's Celtics and the team in 67 that lost to the Sixers that's who I meant but I didn't really know so WRONG FOR ME lol.

7'4 Retired NBA center. As a high schooler he was never really into basketball. He worked as an auto mechanic for 3 years before being discovered by a JuCo coach, who later got him into UCLA (after JuCo)

Then, he went on a a successful if offensively deficient 12 yeah NBA career, 2x Defensive POY.
