Yes! Espn gets their "Favre" section back on the ticker.

This act was old four years ago, Favre isnt even good anymore and may cost the Vikes the playoffs. I can't wait for BJ Raji to flatten him when Favre returns to GB. Dude needs to leave the NFL and stay away forever, even if by injury.

I hate this man. Never before have I rooted for injury, but it's clear that's what it will take for Favre to leave the game.

I am a Bears fan and I really have no fear of Farve. He had a [dang] strong running game in NY and fell apart last season.

His questionable decision making and age limit any effectivess the Vikings offense will gain.

It was great fun watching him implode with the J-E-T-S last year; it'll be great fun watching him do the same in purple this fall.  Can't wait until the first (and second, and third) game that the Vikes lose because of a boneheaded Favre pickoff when they should have been feeding Peterson the ball.  

I mean, Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels (sp?) are horrible, but what Minny needs is a classic, no-mistakes, ball-control QB; someone to keep the chains moving and to not do anything dumb.  They've got the running game, they've got the potentially-dominant defense; Favre is the exact wrong QB for this team.

I dont blame you, i am a diehard Pats fan but i lived in Minnesota for awhile and root for the Vikes kinda, but i can't do that with Favre there.

If they just used Tavaris they would of ran the ball all the time then used some play actions, i mean Jackson had 9 TD's and only 2 picks last year. Now Favre will go there, they will certainly pass more with him there and he will make a ton of dumb throws. I can see a season of around 15 td's and 20+ picks, while Tavaris isnt anything special i think they would of been better off with him. I think its entirely possible that they now miss the playoffs where without him i think they win that division.

I feel bad for him - his talent is ebbing away, he's squandering all the goodwill he built up over his career, and he still can't walk away.  There are few things sadder than a once-great player who plays well past his prime.

I hate the fact that he does this stupid retirement/comeback dance in such a way that it dominates summer sports coverage every single year, but I haven't watched SportsCenter in years anyway.

Enjoy the BBQ's at Madden and Peter King's houses, because thats all the love you're going to get. Particularly after you throw three picks against the Giants or the Packers in the playoffs and blow it for a very talented Vikings team.

I think Green Bay will love him plenty after he inevitably blows a key game against them this year.  But yeah, there aren't many Brett Favre fans left out there anymore, even fans of his glory years.  He's ruined his legacy, but maybe that doesn't matter to him.

I hope the pack and Aaron Rodgers destroy them in the two games they play! Also I would lose it if i were Jackson they have tossed him around like a rag doll since he has been there! They should let him play! The speed they would have on the field with Peterson,Harvin, and Jackson would be scary!

The Vikings used to be my favorite, non-Patriots team.  Now, I will be rooting for them to crash and burn, and finish behind the Lions.
