I originally had Washington in the playoffs, but if the two teams finished with the same record, I think Cleveland takes the head-to-head battle.

Another very close matchup.... I'll go with my original vote of 8th seed:  WASHINGTON

(lest anyone think i'm trying to affect the final tally, I think we (Orlando, the #1 seed in East) matchup better vs. CLE)

Team Rosters

Cleveland Cavaliers (ChampKind)- Devin Harris, David West, Andrew Bogut, Mike Miller, Jamal Crawford, Carl Landry, Andrey Blatche, Lou Williams, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Charlie Bell, Brandon Rush, Ike Diogu, Joe Alexander, Kyle Weaver, Pops Mensah-Bonsu

Washington Boxers (nickagneta)- Stephen Jackson, Ramon Sessions, Gerald Wallace, Luis Scola, Joel Pryzbilla, George Hill, Anthony Morrow, Julian Wright, Darko Milicic, Dan Gadzuric, Tyronne Lue, Juwan Howard, Kris Humphries, Gerald Green, Alexis Ajinca

Not trying to be difficult, but I have a problem with "voting for the better team" here.

I think Washington should advance because they would have the better regular season record, based on their placement in a weaker division.

If we're to vote on a head-to-head matchup between the two, I honestly could go either way, but I give the slightest of nods to Cleveland.

DISREGARDED.  This isn't a clear vote.

There's no perfect system here.  I went with what I felt was the best option.  To be honest, I found it tough to imagine a tiebreaker situation when I originally conceived of the seeding vote.

By the way, if people want to talk about this, then let's direct it to the playoff analysis thread as to not clog up the primary intention of this thread.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Cleveland in a laffer.  And that's with 2 "f"s.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Although Cleveland is another very well put together squad, with one of the league's best benches.

Honestly, I'm having a very difficult time trying to rank teams in any way outside of general tiers. Trying to distinguish between a 6th, 7th, 8th seed and a 9th or 10th ranked team has been fruitless for me. But I do like reading through the match up arguments.
