  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
This is not a hypothetical for me.  Beer, which I love dearly, is off limits to me for medical reasons.

My first choice is now wine.  Its good alone, with pizza, with munchies, or whatever.  I'll also drink something harder now and again.

Still, there is no acceptable substitute to quench that thirst on a hot day after working outside.  The closest I've found for that is Crystal Light and vodka over crushed ice.

Diet coke and bacardi O. Try it now, thank me later.

Seriously its like orange soda. Don't make it too strong though because you won't notice.

I'll definitely give that a try.

The other thing that works is that my wife mixes a mean sangria.

I would have easily gone with rum and coke, but my time in Italy has really opened me up to wine. Still prefer a beer though.

I don't know what I would switch to, but I am sure I would love weight :). Wine is pretty good though. I appreciate it more the older I get.

Sweet tea vodka and lemonade is awesome, but dangerous because it goes down like iced tea and lemonade mixed!

Scotch on the rocks.
P.s. Has anyone used these before to drink?

They're Scotch rocks. Essentially keep your spirit cold while not watering it down.

No but I am going to buy these.

Was it WC Fields who was famed for using frozen marbles in his scotch?

if anyone's trying to buy these, check it here:

I don't drink beer, I think it's a disgusting taste.  But I drink wine coolers, soda or water with my pizza.

I don't drink beer or alcohol.  I drink water, tea, milk, coffee, and some carbonated  beverages. I'd probably smile then knowing roads would be safer to drive.
