why would you release tony allen when you can bury him on the bench and use his contract as trade bait?

No reason to release him unless we desperately need a roster spot for a great vet min. signing.

Please everybody,relax.
Sign Daniels, sign Glen Davis. Forget all the trades. Forget,Marbury,Warrick,Bowen.
Release Tony Allen and go into camp.

and fail miserable for not having a backup pg from the start

something at least farmar level.

House isnt.
It's okay, Edgar. It really is.  If we get both Daniels and BBD, we are in great shape.  Now, if Danny does swing a backup PG that we can have for both camp and the entire regular season who is not online live going insane, then fine.   ;)
That's 3 ifs.  Plus we should have a 3rd wing other than Walker.
No need to be worried, but no reason to be relaxed.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

no contract spot is worth cutting TA and eating like 5+ million after luxury tax, I'll trade him for a second round pick in 2015
