He's done fine till the last day of FA for the last two years eddie, im not sure worried about it.

I would like a true back up PG, but house can do the job if needed.

It's okay, Edgar. It really is.  If we get both Daniels and BBD, we are in great shape.  Now, if Danny does swing a backup PG that we can have for both camp and the entire regular season who is not online live going insane, then fine.

I have great faith that Ainge will make ALL the moves this year. I think our roster will end up being ridiculous. Our starting 5 with remain the same greatness, but our bench will be even better than the championship bench of 07-08

I love Baby but at this point, I'm thinking we need a banger of some kind, a guy who can rebound while Sheed is knocking down 3's.. maybe pick someone up cheap (don't even know at this point), and sign Powe for the bench, he'll be ready to contribute come playoffs

If you're looking for a rebounder off the bench, BBD is not your guy. 

I'm not worried about the remaining off-season, and I think doing what the OP stated would be jumping the gun and shooting the Celtics in the foot a bit.  Personally I say S&T davis, facilitate the Daniels signing, get a serviceable backup PG and a big man who can at least rebound & play some D in the middle.  If it's possible to move Tony Allen then by all means, but I'd rather have him than no-one or a rookie.

I don't think the C's will overpay for Davis.

I would like to get Daniels to a two or three year deal that's reasonable.

TP, absolutely, best overlooked point on this thread, we don't want TA, and neither does anyone else, but they do want his expiring contract. That's the way the league works folks, sometimes a bad player with a good contract situation is more desirable than a good player with a bad contract.
