From Hollinger:
Daniels is 6-6 but handles the ball like a point guard and has played there at times, including last season for the Pacers. He has a great feel for scoring close to the basket and the size to finish around bigger players, even though he isn't a great athlete... Unfortunately, he needs to shoot well from that close in because he's such a poor outside shooter.
From Hooshype:
A versatile player... Can play all three perimeter positions... Does a little bit of everything... Quite athletic... Good defender on the ball... Nice mid-range game... Not a great outside shooter.
Daniels has the size to defend wings, and the handles to run the point, which makes him a perfect compliment to our backup shooting guard Eddie House. He is a career .237 three point shooter, and we cannot put him on the court with Rondo - spacing would be killed.
That means he and Eddie are 14-18 minute per night players, and the C's are still in the market for a small forward. I am not complaining, I really like the signing.
