Just look at this team so far for a second. I think on paper we have a chance to be the greatest basketball team of all-time. Maybe even the 2nd best team ever, 2nd to the 1992 USA Dream Team. I think we are just a few moves away. Imagine this, we re-sign BBD, re-sign Powe, re-sign Marbury, and keep TA. That would give us 11 players who averaged over 7 PPG last year(playing more than 45 games)on a team that will most likely only give up 90 PPG. KG,PP,Ray,Rondo,Perk,Sheed,Marquis,House,BBD,Powe & TA all averaged over 7 PPG last year. To my knowledge no team has ever had more than 9 guys average over 7 PPG for a season(min 45 games). I know the 1981-82 Nuggets had 8, and last year we had 9, but I don't think any team has had more than 9 in a year. This team would be absolutetly ridiculous. The only guy on our roster to not avg at least 7 PPG last year would be Marbury. And this is a guy who has avergaed 19.3 PPG for his career. No team could possibly be any more stacked.
