Whatever that means.

"StarburyMarbury: boston fans. for the record i will never close the door on the celtics. they were to good to me for me to do such a thing."

I suppose it could be in response to a specific reply he got.

I'd be ecstatic if Stephon came back, but that sounds more like, "I'll never forget you" than "I wanna come back".
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

We offered him a deal and he didn't want it. We're not gonna suddenly be able to offer more money. If he wants to be a Celtic, then he could be a Celtic right now.

I'd like to have him back. Does he still have an offer on the table? Imagine the bench:

Marbury
House
Daniels
BBD
Wallace

Maybe he's not getting offers for more money and he's changing his tune?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think Danny would give him the LLE if we get Daniels via sign and trade. Marbury wanted 2.5 or something like that so the LLE (1.9) wouldn't be to far of a drop. A 10 man rotation would be hard regarding minutes, but it's a nice problem to have.

I think that was a response to my reply, as well as a handful of other replies he received concerning him returning to the Celts.

What I said:
@StarburyMarbury We need you back in Boston, man. Come back for KG!

I'm just glad he hasn't thrown the idea away of coming back just yet.

Definitely.

The only thing to worry about after that is who gets how many minutes.

I think Steph may come back. I hope so atleast...lol ;D Thats why DA is doing a sign and trade with Indy instead of using the LLE for Daniels. That LLE may be used for Marbury instead. In the NBA there are incentives. Marbury could easily sign for the LLE (1.9MILL), and have an incentive to avg so many pts, assists, and turn overs. to get another 100-300 grands or so. ???

I'd like to see him come back for sure. I'm worried DA is going to say that Daniels is able to play the 1,2,3 and between him and eddie they can cover the mins at backup point! Or atleast that wouldn't be my first option. I want a true pg so that Daniels can worry about covering pierce and RA's minutes.

Maybe Danny is working out a trade with Indy so that he can give Steph the LLE, in case Steph changes his mind. Would be awesome if he decided to come back. He still has game.

I thought this door was happily closed.

I will be happy when Marbury finally moves on to Europe.

Again, I'm okay with Starbury coming back, if it's for the minimum.
