I like this idea theoretically, but Miami doesn't send out enough for it to work. Miami has to send out $9,779,120 to get Boozer. Haslem ($7.1) and Moon (counts for $1.5) only gives them $8.6 million outgoing so they'd have to add something, and it'd have to go to Utah, since we're already taking on as much as we can in both scenarios (in scenario 2, Davis has to have a first year salary of at least $4,175,000). So that cuts into Utah savings. I also wonder whether Miami, which will take on additional salary and go over the tax to make this move, would agree to pay cash too, considering Boozer isn't guaranteed to be there more than a year.

Truthfully, they need a fourth team like ssspense proposed, but it has to be a below-cap team willing to take on salary, not an above-cap team like Dallas.

Good catch! Yeah the deal would have to be padded a little more to get around the BYC rule.

yeah let's stick to my ridiculously complicated version -- it took me about 30 mins just to get all the math straight!

by the way, i'm still 100% in favor of this deal regardless of the daniels signing. With daniels taking on some of the handling duties, a second unit with him, house, moon, haslem and wallace is truly champ caliber.

This would be a great deal for us but I can't see it happening.

This is probably the best trade idea i've ever read on this site. I love Haslem, his game's a lot like unloved Leon's. And also both Moon and Daniels, would give us a full backup wing. If there is any way I could send this to Danny I'd do it lol. tp.

I love this idea. HOwever, I don't know if in theory this trade would actually work.

Despite the Daniels signing, this would work great, since for Daniels plays SG for the Pacers anyway. Daniels plays point-forward often, so using Daniels, Eddie, Moon, Haslem and Rasheed would work as a unit on their own. Liking it a lot.
