Wouldn't the pre-draft workouts have mentioned something? Can anyone find them?

"... His physical strength is virtually unparalleled for a player his height ... "

That scouting report was deadly accurate. good find.
Except for the fact that it said he was 330lb freshman year (!) and then "chiseled 20-25 pounds" and ended up 280lb.
It commented that he should "explode upward for rebounds instead of relying on his huge frame to box out two players at a time."  So true, look at his rpg now that he's in the NBA and is unable to box out guys like he probably did in college.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

He bodyslammed Shaq when he was 15 years old, I think that says he's quite strong.

Watch film of the Orlando series.

Big Baby may be 5 or 6 inches shorter than Dwight, but Dwight couldn't gain any leverage on him, just like Perk.

He has got great lower body strength, and I'd imagine he's got to be one of the strongest players in the league.

The strength of BBD and Perk should NOT be under estimated...It's one of the reasons we won in 2008....if we lose BBD and Powe in one off season, it will be VERY hard to push elite teams around---especially since Orlando(Bass),Clev(Shaq), and LA(Artest)---ALL got tougher....I feel we must keep Big Baby for this reason.

la loose toughness and wins movies
