Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Sacramento and Boston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Sacramento and Boston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This would be a financial move for the cheap Maloofs, giving them three expirings for the remaining 3 years of Nocioni's contract. This would solidify our bench, fill the glaring hole at backup SF, and add yet another good defender to our team. He's notorious for getting under the skin of opposing teams, sort of like what Posey did for us a couple years ago, and sort of like what Ron Artest is going to do for the Lakers. He would be our anti-Ron when the finals come around (if the Lakers are even there).
