"Andrian Wojarnowski from Yahoo on 6 30 show said Det may only have 3..6 million to offer Big Baby. Also Hill used NY to jack up PHX offer"


good to see grant was only in it for the money...also about baby...it looks like boston will be able to offer him the most cash...anything under 4 mil the Cs should match

I don't think Hill was "only in it for the money".  He wanted to stay with a team where he was comfortable, and didn't want to uproot his family.

he played new york to get more money...i just dont think grant was in it for the championship..

I'm not confident we'd match at $3.6. Maybe, but I'm not sure. I'd like to see them do it, but who knows?

i think they would match baby at 3.6 mil...there is a spot on the bench for him...sheed, baby, eddie, a solid wing, PG, scal and one more big or wing would be a very good bench..

I agree with celticinorlando on this one. I don't think Hill had any interest in winning a ring.

100% of free-agents use other offers to jack up offers for them. He wanted PHX, and he was quite clear about that since the start of Free-Agency... the threat of leaving was his only leverage to get paid. If anyone blames him for that, then they have to be ignorant about how free-agency works.

how do u know he "acted".  he may have legitimately been interested.  in the end, he made the best choice for him, according to he and his family.  im disappointed, but i dont resent the guy

Yeah. No matter what he chose, people could come out with evil interpretations.

New York pursued him. He did not pursue NY. The same with the Celtics. He considered the offers, and decided to stay in Phx.

no thanks, he's terrible. I was happy every time I saw him check in to a game when we played the cavs
