I like the Garcia pick. He was in the mix with Rudy and Raja last round. Good get Orlando.

With the 6th pick in the Sixth Round The ORLANDO MAGICS select

SG/SF Francisco Garcia

We're ecstatic since we considered him in the 5th round --- Garcia is one of 4 players last year (with Lebron, Wade, Granger) to average 1 blk/1stl/1 3pm; and did it in the fewest minutes/gm.

Great pick. Superb wing sub.

The Golden State Warriors select Tyreke Evans.

This late in the draft we are happy to pick someone who could be a true impact player.

Except one is only 22 and will only get better and the other will turn 30 this year and is losing a step defensively. Not a huge downgrade imo.

Scola is one my favorite frontcourt players and so I'm not going to knock the trade.

But let's not go overboard on the Prince revisionism. "Losing a step?" I haven't seen any evidence myself, and anyway doubt that his game is predicated on foot speed. Though I'd be interested in hearing the counter-argument.? His defensive PER has held steady. He's one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, with a 7'2" wingspan. He's tough, he's difficult to shot over, he's even more difficult to drive around, he's great in transition, he's great on the switch. He's also a winner over the course of his career, with a championship and a ton of playoff experience that can't or shouldn't be easily discounted.

Chandler is a significant downgrade.

Who also happens to play for the Knicks
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I almost took him instead of Roger Mason. I thought I'd be getting too young with mr evans, but he's the guy I wanted.

Mason Jr. was the only guy ahead of Evans on my SG list at the time you picked.

Who also happens to have a 7 foot wingspan as well. Chandler is the real deal. Not as good as Prince right now, but much closer to Prince then any big man I could get in round 9 would be to Scola.

And Rondo2, your starting center is a Clipper, so you should probably keep quiet on what teams people play for. and your starting 2 guard plays for the..  Oh yeah you don't have one.

Lebron plays one on tv too. Didn't get the joke. Research Chandler a little, now that you have free time since you don't have to convince people about Arenas anymore.

I ought to have added that I do like Wilson Chandler and his upside. He could potentially put up some gaudy numbers this season. I was just eager to come to Prince's "defense."
