So, is Denver clearly in the lead for "team of the future"?  I've got to think so.

I like Denver's players a lot, but I question how this team would function together.

2 7th roudners for a 5th, get at me!

We'll offer a 6th.

6(12), 7(3), 8(11), 8(15) are available in some sort of combination for the right deal.

6(8 ), 7(9, 23), 9(15, 23) are available in some sort of combination for the right deal.  Think of the possibilities!!!

Offering the next pick, 4(16), plus 6(24) for a later 4th and early 5th.

GC tells me that his availability this afternoon may be spotty, so if you're looking to acquire the first pick of the 5th round, please copy both of us on all your trade proposals.

We at the las vegas war room like to think we are somewhere in the discussion, with our team based defense and  trade able assets, but we concede that WDL is in the lead talent wise, for sure.

San Antonio says Hi.

I think San Antonio has the best two young players. I don't know about team.

FTR, I'm not bad mouthing this team for my own good, I thought the talk of my own team as "team of the future" was pretty overrated.

I beg to differ.  You put all these guys in a draft in the real NBA again, I would bet that 90% of the teams still draft the big C first.  He has the potential to be a top 2 big man in the league for the next decade (along with Howard).

The top two big men of the last decade won a combined 8 titles, with the third best big man (KG) winning one.

The best PGs of the last decade (Nash, Kidd) have won 0.

And Rose is a long way to go to be considered in the same league as Paul and Williams for the next decade.

I must say though, my pick this round has been the least talked about pick.  Not sure if that means people liked it or hated it.

Also, D. Wade and Nene have had their own share of injury issues, as I recall, and Odom has motor problems.  I remember some proverb about glass houses and tossing stones around.

Nene and Wade are coming off of career years and Odom was a key contributor on a championship team. Correct?

The topic was not my team it was yours. You and Edgar are building an older and often injured team and threw in Spencer Hawes. Roy, when is the last time a player on your team was an all-star team? 2005?
