With Gordon and Duncan, I felt like a speed guy was the way to go. Someone who could get to the hole and dish, and who could hound PGs defensively.

Look at his second half numbers:Post All-star break, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 46.4% shooting, and 43.5 % 3PT shooting. It's hard to find a young PG with that type of efficiency.

Still, I think it's a solid pick here.

The flamingo's pine over two missed players we wanted caused by a "quick meeting" that went on 25 minutes longer than advertised, but are still content to rescue young talentEric Gordonfrom the hell that is the clippers franchise

He's a good pick in the third, but he's not a star.I don't like the Gordon / Ford backcourt very much, honestly. I think it's going to get exploited by bigger teams.
