I just wanna say nice job Buffalo for always picking immediately. TP for the trees squad that Rebus is putting together.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
One of the things that everyone should think about when drafting is how other posters will view your pick.  Since the results of this game are subjective, the opinions of others do actually matter greatly.  If you have to lobby hard to convince others that your team is good you may end up turning other voters off to your team, which I believe actually happened last year.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The Philadelphia 76ers would like to select Baron Davis and think in a better team environment he will perform to his abilities.

Good point ChampKind.

At the same time I would encourage folks to try and be as objective about other teams as possible. IMHO, it's not (or shouldn't be) a popularity contest among the guys we pick -- I can acknowledge there are players I don't like but can admit to their talent(s). IMHO, the goal is who can build the best team top-to-bottom with all the pieces working together.

I look at the CelticsBlog draft like a cooking contest (been watching a lot of Iron Chef America lately, sorry...): We're using a lot of the same ingredients to cook and some will make something spicy, some will make a desert, some will make a savory main dish. But who can succeed in making the ingredients work together.

Popularity of individual players can and will work its way into the equation (just as ingredients do) but it shouldn't be the primary factor.....

now back to the picks.  I have a feeling the next guy taken will have tremendous potentiabilty and fantastic teammatesmanship!!
