I don't think there is any way to make a ppt work here. maybe a link to a google doc?

Tough blow for Buffalo; Kleiza is ineligible, as he just signed in Europe.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Just curious - did anyone ever start to (or even finish) the daunting task of updating every trade to include players from this year's draft?  It would be interesting to see how everything played out.  I can't due to work complications, but I had thought that someone else might have given it a shot.  I'd be willing to offer up copious TPs for anyone that could.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

What if we allowed those people who drafted ineligible players (those that are retiring/staying retired, those who signed/staying overseas) to sign FA's as a provisional measure? Seems like that is what would happen in real life, why can't it happen here too?

I'm curious, why is he ineligible? Who's to say that he wouldn't have stayed with Buffalo or that Buffalo wouldn't have paid him 6 million? Or is this a set rule?

Yeah, it's a set rule.  If a player signs in Europe in "real life", that means he left for Europe in our draft, as well.

In other news, Von Wafer just signed overseas, as well, making life difficult for Indiana.

Yeah, I agree.  I didn't see this one coming, either.  I echo the TP sentiments.  Even though you're a direct rival, I don't like seeing stuff like this happen to weaken a contender.
