TP.... that really cracked me up.

I mean I feel really sad about the loss of MJ. But this was brilliant. Ron Artest is the man. He doesn't care who judges him. He's gonna do his thing.

This makes me regret the C's not getting Artest even more.

Is Artest predicting his death in a yr though?

Wow, I started listening to it thinking it was going to suck, but the song is just great. Thanks for posting it.

Wow, that was... interesting. By far one of the worst string of lyrics (not even calling this a song) that I've heard. Athletes, please stick to playing sports. Leave the rapping to rappers. You don't see Jay-Z trying out for the Knicks.

It's moments like this that I'm glad we don't have Ron Artest.

I seem to recall a rapper that recently was trying out for the NBA and invited to their camp. So I guess you do... What do you care? If you don't like the music don't listen. He doesn't come into your backyard and tell you to stop playing pickup ball. If we were only allowed to do things we excelled at we'd all be pretty bored.

Horrible song. I just heard it on Shade 45 and it got blasted by both the host and listeners. Something tells me Michael would moon walk the ##ck outta the club if he heard that garbage.
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

Dude, Master P tries out for the Raptors every season. He once even got invited to join the Summer League squad.

Rappers want to be ballers and ballers want to be rappers. That's just how it goes.

;D ;D .....And the difference between the depth of the prototype rapper's lyrics and Artest's?  About 20 times the incoherent yelling profanity.  By this genre's standards, (term used very loosely) Artest's work is outstanding.

Any moment Artest opens his mouth makes me glad we don't have Ron Artest.

More like gong show material than Cowell's histrionics.

Yes it's him...

Another interesting tidbit:

Quote
Ron Artest who previously wore number 96 for the Houston Rockets has chosen to wear number #37 for the Lakers. Artest told Lakers Nation his reasoning:

I was trying to figure out a number, I was talking to my wife and kids. I was on my twitter, MySpace, and Facebook and asking everybody to help me pick a number. On my MySpace, somebody named Trish T he Dish came up with the #37 and said that Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” was 37 weeks at number one of all time. 23 I was going to choose, it was available, it’s a great number but, I thought (with) that 37 and “Thriller”, I can make that a new great number. I think more kids should start getting the #37 for a great human being, since Michael loved all people. I think I’m representing greatness in wearing #37.
