I'm not trying to cause any trouble here, I really am not, but come on you are editing posts now that aren't even causing backlash? I really don't get it..... Please don't take me the wrong way , I am just busting balls back . Lets not be so politically correct please!

I know I get the tag here for being a trouble maker, but I am not I promise I won't use Caps anymore because it may offend some people  ;)

This is some really sad news. McNair was a great QB.


OT:  I find it tasteless to harass mods in a thread dedicated to someone who has passed and I am really disappointed in some Celtics Blog members.

First of all I really hope not.  This would be horrible for his family to find out, especially combined with his death. However, he was just days prior in a vehicle, as a passenger, with the same woman when she was arrested for DUI.  When they were both found, they were at a condo owned by McNair that was not his primary residence.  The circumstance surrounding the death of McNair and the woman he was with just seem a little strange to me.

OK...I slept on this, and need to say a few things.

1) I'm glad I wasn't around all day.
2) It has to be one of the biggest mountains made out of a molehill that I've ever seen.  And to have it turn into a series of personal attacks aimed my way is just ridiculous. Nothing I did in editing the "all caps thing" was an attack on the OP's character, or the integrity of his post.  I politely (note the use of the word "please") reminded him of a rule and made the change to keep it within our rules.  If that's not within the scope of being a moderator then someone needs to redefine the job for me.

I do my best to be respectful of my fellow members.  How that respect has somehow been obscured by upholding a rule about capitalizing, to the point where it started a pile-on, full on attack on me, is mind-boggling.

Don't attack a man's character, especially one who you know zippo about.  If you're basing your opinion of my character negatively based on editing an all caps title, or the content of my avatar, then shame on you.

Sorry to continue sending this thread in another direction but I had to say something more than what I was capable of at midnight last night.

How about members don't attack mods AND mods don't attack members? I see a lot of people team up against members which I feel is wrong too.
