ps  - no matter how breaking the news please avoid all caps in the title

LOL thats funny , come on man are you really going to bust my balls for that....

Nope, not busting balls, just pointing it out and editing it.

ok good job !
Sounds like ball busting to me.  Redz you are a tool.  I haven't been on this site long, but it seems rather obvious to me who you are.  We all share share a love of the C's, but it doesn't change you being what you are.

Anyways, this is an absolute tragedy.  McNair was all class, all the time.  But is it any wonder why atheletes these days carry guns.
I doubt you've talked enough with Redz to form a good opinion of him. Not sure why you're trolling on this.

That is a shame. Steve McNair has always been one of my favorite quarterbacks. He never appeared to me to be anything but a good guy...course I didn't know him or anything.

My thoughts exactly.

Redz is doing his job as a moderator, from the Celticsblog rules:

Quote
Try not to get excessive with caps/punctuation in your posts such as "Greg Kite IS the best CELTIC of All-Time!!!!!!!" This is not necessary, no matter how much you may like Greg Kite.  Posts that are in all-caps will be deleted.

When a mod corrects you, don't take it personally. Its happened to me several times.

Far too many, I just hope its not a suicide. That would make it worse somehow...

Exactly

It's ridiculous

do you think he has a mustache, sunglasses, and a badge when he's patrolling for proper capitalization

and, not for nothing, but maybe someone should be monitering some of the "higher ups" on this site, who often make similar comments

ultimately we are all just fans and our opinions are equally valid

So getting shot down by some of these individuals is ridiculous
I think you should familiarize yourself with the rules I linked above. I've never seen any mod abuse in my entire time here. Regular posters might argue you with or shoot you down pretty hard, but its a discussion board that happens.

I think the mods do an excellent job, especially Redz.

I didn't mean to, but, it seems I caused quite a stir on this thread.  Redz might be a perfectly fine person, I'm only going off of a limtied time here on this site.  I understand the rules are the rules.  That being said, it does seem to me some of the mods here act as if they are the be all and end all of this site.  This site would be nothing without regular posters and casual visitors as well.  I probably should have left well enough alone, this story, is after all, very tragic.

McNair was a tremendous person, and it is a shame this happened.  I feel terrible for his family and the Nashville community.  Even after he left Nashville he continued to do good work there.  R.I.P. Steve!

Oh, and whoever claimed I shouldn't be trolling is full of themselves.  I am as saddened as anyone else here about McNair's passing.  Furthermore, I am as diehard a C's fans as the rest of you, and have followed the C's through all the good and bad times.
