"The Cavaliers are aggressively pursuing unrestricted free agents Ron Artest and Trevor Ariza, and it sounds promising that they could land at least one, if not both of them."

That article also said that Artest was considering the Celtics.

If Artest and Sheed both came I'm predicting 70 wins.

Ok, apparently they are courting both in hopes of signing one... Cleveland could offer Big Z in a sign and trade for Artest. This helps Houston by giving them a 1 year rental big man. It's better than letting Artest go for nothing right?

They'd only be able to get one barring some S&T, but I'd be happy with either one.  I think Sheed would probably fit a need more, but Artest is the better player right now.

I got a hold of the video they sent to Ariza:

And apparently they sent this one to Artest:

After watching those videos, they are definitely signing...

Cleveland only has 1 MLE right  ;)

Not possible...

Actually, LeBron has successfully petitioned Stern for an additional 5 MLEs.

In other news, the team will be known this season as the Cleveland Fighting MLE's.

Haha.  I saw those videos a while back on YouTube.  The guy who made them is hilarious.  His name is Mike Polk.  He has managed to have some of the strangest television appearances ever including one of my favorites on the Today show.  On YouTube when looking at these videos, look on the right, find the one about Mike Polk's TV reel, watch, and enjoy!

God Jsaad those never get old.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

If you believe the Celtics should make a play for Ron Artest and want to show him the love (ala Houston creating a Gortat Twitter Site) I have created a Come 2 Boston Artest twitter page. If you belong to twitter look up Come2BosArtest! Atleast we can try to do our part! The only way we can get our voice heard! I love what Danny is Doing!

i would love to have Artest here.  He would have to get a ton of minutes off the bench, though.  That would make a lot of our players expendable... so I'd expect us to then trade Tony allen + Scal + Giddens + Pruitt for a serviceable backup bigman that we desperately need.
