Cleveland only has 1 MLE right  ;)

Not possible...

Actually, LeBron has successfully petitioned Stern for an additional 5 MLEs.

In other news, the team will be known this season as the Cleveland Fighting MLE's.

Foul!  Lebron was fouled while petitioning the league, and will receive 3 free MLE's and the ball as compensation.

The league will formally apologize to Lebron, and rewrite the rulebooks to allow his 'crab dribble' as further compensation.

Ok, apparently they are courting both in hopes of signing one... Cleveland could offer Big Z in a sign and trade for Artest. This helps Houston by giving them a 1 year rental big man. It's better than letting Artest go for nothing right?

This makes alot of sense.  I seriously don't think we have the goods to compete with Cleveland for Artest. Does Artest have another year on his deal? He is not a FA, right?

If Trevor leaves LA it is because LA is paying
as much as they can to keep Odom.  They can't afford to keep both.

Trevor's asking price I would pin at 5-6M yr (MLE).

If Cleveland get's him, they would get a solid young
athletic defender coming off the bench.  This is what
they lacked all season & would be a good addition for them.

The Celtics #1 priority is a BIG 4/5 & second priority would
be a 2/3.  I see us getting MLE money to Wallace, secure that deal - then head to best available for LLE $$ at the 3 spot.

It seems the suggestion is they could sign and trade varajao for artest and use the MLE on Ariza -- not that that makes any sense.

Mo
Artest
Ariza
Lebron
Shaq

That would be an interesting starting lineup

Big Z
Delonte
Hickson
Boobie
Joe Smith

bench

well then, can we sign and trade Big Baby for Artest? I mean, he's at least as valuable as sideshow bob

That article also said that Artest was considering the Celtics.
If Artest and Sheed both came I'm predicting 70 wins.

I'm predicting 80

Yeah, the C's won 66 with Rondo and Perkins half the players they are today.  I expect them to challenge for 70 with just Wallace or Artest.

If KG hadn't gotten hurt we might have gotten the greatest record of all time.

Difference is Cleveland's ownership is willing to go way over the luxury tax, while the C's ownership won't. We "could" sign and trade BBD for a big contract and give the full MLE to another player, but Wyc is not approving that.

Yes, Lakers/Celtics game. I was there with Brian Austin Green. He was rooting for the Lakers (prick!) and I was rooting for the Celtics. I have the cutest Celtics jersey dress...
