Well, I definitely hate the name. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue... Can we all rename our franchises with gibberish? ;)

I think the renaming of teams is confusing.

I agree completely Evantime. I think for the draft board, the names should be what they actually are. But for posts about the teams, the GM's can get a little creative.

I was Milwaukee last year and I would like to be in it again. I thought I responded to this earlier but it may have been on a different thread.

The CrotorNats are the Portland Blazers IIRC .... i was just using their combo-name that Edgard threw out when he said he and Roy were teaming up, to talk some trash earlier. Blazers/CrotorNats... they're coming in 2nd at best :)

looking forward to getting this going, TP again Don for overseeing the whole thing... that's a lot of work!

So we're at 27 teams?

Alright, what we may have to do is some contraction here.

Also, do any of the people who volunteered to be a co-GM want to have their own team?

Has the draft order tentatively been set, also, contraction would be fine with me, I think quality owners is far better than 30 and three that couldnt care less.

I second that thought (contraction) --- prefer 30, but not if 2 or 3 are gonna bail or be inactive -- it would also be a fake, real-world look at how much deeper the NBA would be with real contraction.

TP, another of many you'll be getting from me throughout DONOGHUS, for serving as the commissssshhhhhh.

I PM'ed Lucky 17 --- sounds like he was gonna be gone in August, but all the rounds would be done by then in the new format (RNDs 1-5 JULY20-24; RNDS 6-15 JULY 27-31). Heck, I'll write up his press conference if that's what we're left with... i loved writing mine last year. and maybe its easier being objective about someone elses team :)

He agreed to serve as my Leo Papile, but if he's available I think we'd all be better off w/ him on board.

Lucky was an active GM of ATlanta last year... just another of the great group we had in the Southeast Divison.

So is Lucky gonna be back?

I haven't determined draft order yet.  My guess is that it will be determined after the holiday weekend.   Just need to finalize who's in and have newcomers pick teams.
