Trade market seems to have slowed down as we near the eve of the draft.

I guess the big question now is who gets drafted first, Birdman, Barnes or Marbury.

SOmeone will make the case that Birdman is a starting 5.

Starting 5?  He is a franchise player.  Clearly a mid 1st round pick. (if not the number 1 overall)

We'll see what happens when the trade moratorium is lifted at 6:00.  I've heard rumors of at least three trades, including one involving our team.

I know about trades happening.  The offers coming in have slowed down.

Roy, didn't we have rules last year about discussing draft strategies publicly? As a man who only holds 2 mid second round picks to open the draft, I can say that my only hope is that a play slips through the cracks. I don't need loose lipped posters like WD putting ideas in posters heads about who to pick. Now i have to cross Chris Anderson off my list. What next? Do I need to cross off Shareef Abdur-Rahim off my list too? Mark Blount? Where will it end?

Stop fibbing.

I saw you waxing poetically about the franchise potential of Gerald Green.

I just hope that Gerald Green lasts until the end of round 2 and that Sebastian Telfair lasts until early in the 3rd. Do you think I can nab Raef with a late 4th rounder?

I don't know Telfair went in the 5th round last year didn't he?  At this rate he is a top 20 pick.

(Orlando)--rumors out of The Magics war room having them leaning toward taking a heavily tatooed jumping jack who wears a headband and is a fan favorite in his home arena with the #1 overall pick. The rumors come after GM Gainesville Celtic acknowledged spending "way too much time" scouring for strategy on various internet message boards. GC has sadly long been rumored to being easily swayed by posts by other GMs -- as evidenced by his reach for Marcin Gortat (and Eddie Jones, who may at that point not have even been alive) in the 15th round last year.

I don't know if you heard about this (it was on twitter) but a big name NBA superstar is about to leave for Europe.  Seems that someone dunked on him in one of his camp, and despite confiscating all the visual evidence, word got out.  Apparently he is going to hide in shame, changing his name to Juwanna Mann.
