Just a clarification on the draft times to clear up any confusion.

If you're pick is posted as happening at 9:30 am, then you have until 9:31 am to make your pick.  After that, the following person can jump in and pick.  If the person before you drafting picks at 9:25 am, you can make your pick right away.[/b
]

Sorry if i'm slow, but it's differetnt than last year?

IIRC, last year:

1. Orlando Magics - 9:30
2. Buffalo Braves - 9:40

meant that ORL was "On the clock" from 9:30 --> 9:39 + 59 secs.

But I just want to be clear that wahat you're saying is ORL is "on the clock" from 9:21 --> 9:31?

This was discussed by the staff.

That's cool, i just wanted to be clear (b/c I misunderstood) I think most folks think of it as when their "on the clock".

I posted an example in the rules thread for clarification on it.

Just want to be clear b/c it's what caused so much chaos last year.

Last year the posted times were the deadlines, which is the same as this year.

So I have until 9.40 to make my pick, just as Orlando has until 9.30?

If your posted time is 9:40, then you have until 9:40.59 seconds to get it in before you can get jumped.

Suns send: 1st rounder (17), 7th rounder(17)

I don't like this deal at all for the Kings when considered alongside their earlier trade with Seattle. They now moved back from 1 (10) to 1 (15) for nothing.

P.S. The Houston Rockets are shopping for an early 10th round pick.

Sacremento now has the 15 and 17th pick in the first eound, which should give them a solid combo.

And now I don't pick until 2(14)

I agree they got value in their trade with Phoenix. But this trade makes their trade with Seattle a clear mistake.

Quote
Sacramento sends: 1st rounder (10), 2nd rounder (21), and 4th rounder (21)
Seattle sends: 1st rounder (15), 2nd rounder (16), and 4th rounder (16
)

The team could have had 1 (10) and 1 (17), and what small gains they previously made in the 2nd and 4th rounds they just passed along to GM IndeedProcced.

Maybe the Suns don't take the offer without the higher 2nd and 4th
