Dallas sends: 8th rounder (38)

Philly sends: 9th rounder (4), 10th rounder (17), 12th rounder (27)[/b
]

The price for 8th rounders just went up...

Yeah, Dallas got very good value, I think.

I had double picks in the later rounds and no 8th, so for me it wasn't that big a deal.

Playing devil's advocate, though, shouldn't you try to maximize the value of all of your picks?

Just because I've got quite a few PM's from people who understandably think I've been inactive:

I am listening to trade offers, both through PM's and pretty frequently on the board,  but I don't have any intentions of making a trade before draft day where I can see what's on the board.

I do/will continue to respond to PM's quickly, and will give you an indication if I like the offer. But unless I receive a god father type offer I'm going to wait.

I plan on being pretty active on draft day (I'm in a transitional period at my current position, so I got nothing but time).

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
All my picks are available, looking to consolidate in rounds 2-6.  Shoot me an offer.

AP (SEATTLE) - Rumors out of Seattle have Sonics GM Hoyo de Monterrey attending a charity function in Dallas recently. While the Sonics brass claims it's nothing more then a show of good faith, a source close to the team says there may be negotiating involved.

"We doin' s---!" said Sonics Vice President In Charge Of Being Gary Payton, Gary Payton. "Aww yeah!"

The Sonics also announced the hiring of Jack Sikma, Bob Cousy, and Dave Cowens as assistants to fill out head coach Tom Heinsohn's staff. Cowens has also been granted an immediate eight week leave of absence, citing "burnout."

"Well, Cowens is here to drive the team bus," said Payton. "You seen this man drive? He was a cabbie in Boston for awhile, and this man don't signal for no one. He knows how to move."
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Also he said he'd talk trades between shows.
