Yeah i have heard this from Max before. Unfortunately, players get way more than they would settle for because of their agents. Its kind of surprising that Rondo would even discuss a number to a member of the media.

That's a great contract for both parties. I would love to see Rondo sign for that--its a lot of money, but not an overpay like Rashard Lewis' contract.

unfortunately, what Rondo actually wants in contract extension is kind of irrelevant at this point. this "Rondo wants an unreasonable contract" notion has taken on a life of its own.

and putting out the fires is a lot tougher than starting them.

anyway, 10-11 mil per is an extremely reasonable contract for him. I say lock him up if that's what he's looking for...
