Quote
The Houston Rockets are reportedly "leaning toward" accepting a trade with the Phoenix Suns, that would bring All-Star forward Amar'e Stoudemire and Leandro Barbosa to Houston in exchange for Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry, and Aaron Brooks.

I think it is a pretty good deal for both teams. I think Carl Landry and Arron Brooks are very underrated.

If this happens, I wonder how long it will take for Nash to ask to get out of there.

Great trade for the Rockets

If this happens Nash is going to be moved too. If not he'll leave as a FA.

The article is off though, this trade doesn't really save the Suns any money. Amar'e is going to opt out so the expiring nature of McGrady's deal doesn't help all that much. Rather they pick up Landry and Brooks instead of losing Amar'e for nothing.

I wonder if they'll be able to extend Amar'e.

i dont follow western division teams very closely, so i have a question.

given houston's team now and the many injuries mcgrady had the last few years....

has houston greatly improved their team? it would seem so at first glance, but i leave that call to other posters who are more knowledgeable on this.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I don't think this is happening and I know that Danny offered a better deal than that.

Some GMs don't want a PG that can't shoot, they could also like Landry a lot.

I love it.

This may also signal the end of Steve Nash in Phoenix.

Maybe, but Gasol to the Fakers did too.  Nothing surprises me anymore.
