I'm curious why people think that FA's are going to flock to Boston? They didn't last year. I don't share the optimism.

yeah..i am a little concerned that boston is going to have a tough time getting guys to buy in as free agents...if our bench stays the same (tony, scal, baby, giddens, house and walker) the celtics are in deep trouble...b/c i want no part of marbury and moore next season...and honestly powe adds zero with that injury

Anyone worth a crap last year had us at the top of their list...there weren't a lot of options.
How many of those did we sign?

Agreed.  On the other hand, it should be a buyers market this summer, since many teams with cap room will hold off offering big contracts so as to keep flexibility in the hopes of landing one of the big names the following summer (LBJ, DWade, etc).

Chris Andersen wanted to come here. So didn't Ty Lue.

Totally with you -- I would be happy with either.

Boston didn't chase them last year.

They went after Posey with limits.  That's it.

Danny got distracted by James Posey and messed up big time. We don't have those distractions this year.

KG/ BBD/ ________

those are the guys i want to stay on my team, the rest need to be filled in either through trades (Scal, TA, Pruitt) or FA.

Exactly. McDyess probably could've went to the finals with us this year, but opted to go back to a losing Detroit team that was swept in the first round.
Who exactly are we attracting here again?
