Celtics Acquire: Kevin Martin, Nocioni
Suns Acquire: Ray Allen, draft picks fron Kings, Donte Green
Kings Acquire: Stoudemire, Jared Dudley.

C's get a younger shooting guard with a very reasonable contract, and a guy who can give us 10/5 off the bench.

Sun's get rid of STAT, obtain some youth, and can make a final push with RA playing with nash and shaq and richardson.

Kings get a franchise player and dont lose much trading draft picks in a weak draft.

No disrepect, but the Kings are NEVER going to trade Kevin Martin.. His former agent Jason Levien is now the Assistant GM of the Kings, therefore Kevin Martin is going nowhere...

If Danny could get Martin and Nocionni for Ray Allen, I'd take back everything bad I said about him for the Brandon Roy trade trade, Giddens Pick, POB signing, Raef trade, Blount signing, Wally trade, bring walker back 9losing out on Granger), etc.

No way the Kings do this trade and unless the Kings draft picks are first rounders no way the Suns do it. And if the Kings picks ARE first rounders then no one told me Chris Wallace was the Kings GM.

I like it but Phoenix pretty much gets screwed from the deal. Unless Phoenix is really looking to bottom out and free up some money.

Yeah I guess that's all true....The only reason I see the suns doing it, is becuase they seem pretty set on dealing STAT. I suppose the C's would have to give up a lot more.

Maybe I underrated Martin - but I always try to underrate the best player on a bad team. You never know if they could put up the same numbers on a good team.

That's a good point. And I loved your proposal from the C's end of things. Regarding players putting up great stats on bad teams, it's funny that Rondo always gets the knock that if he wasn't playing with 3 all-stars he wouldn't be any good. Well we lost KG and his numbers went up, so my feeling is without all these all stars Rondo would probably actually have better numbers.

Man the thought of a backcourt of Rondo and Martin makes me regret again the Brandon Roy trade. Imagine a Rondo/Roy back court? And if you wanted to you could of still have gotten KG. Just do the Jefferson/#5 pick/Wally trade offer. KG accepts because ROY Brandon Roy and Pierce is enough to convince him the C's can be good. We also get to keep Gomes and Delonte, a couple first rounders and a yr later we have Raef's expiring contract to trade (for Amare or someone).

I like the trade for us, but it really wouldn't help the Suns or Sacramento.

Kevin Martin is very good.  Nocioni is a very versatile backup.

I really like Martin and Nocioni. I think we should adjust the trade like this:

Kevin Martin, Andreas Nocioni <--> Ray Allen

Much more simple and the Suns really wouldn't agree to the original. This would still leave the Kings with Udrih, Thompson and Hawes and they can build around them just as well.

The Kings may be in dire straits right now but they aren't so desperate that they'd willingly sell off any real hope for the future like that.  Kevin Martin is their franchise guy and without a top 3 pick they aren't getting another one any time soon (no Griffin, Rubio etc).

It's not like the Kings can bottom out anymore...they were the worst team in the league this year, and already cut a ton of salary.

Moral of the story: they would never do that trade.

The 2008 title wasn't enough?  Danny's a god.  He's going to turn Gabe Pruitt into Chris Paul.  He's the LarBrd33 of the real NBA.
