I looked through the wings that are available - most have multiple years on their contracts, and a lot Scal/Tony don't have enough $ to bring back. You're limited to someone making 10 or less. And I don't think ownership will bring in someone with three or more years.
Darko is an oddball case in taht his current team has a young center (Gasol) and is about to get another one in Thabeet. Additionally they are cash strapped. Anyways - I'm not saying Scal and Tony for a wing can't happen, just haven't seen a deal I think passes the sniff test yet.
Who says the C's can't take on a wing with 2 years left on their contract...or even more if its a good player? And they can also put Davis as a sign and trade in the package if they need to, and don't feel they can pay him.
Now, if they can sign Grant hill for the LLE or vet minimum, great, then they can look at a deal like this. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the C's would prefer to keep Tony and Scal as extra depth, if they are able to fill the holes up front, and on the wing and at PG without trading them, instead of trading them for a guy who would essentially be depth for 1 position.
