Go Nuggets. I'm going to be rocking my Carmelo jersey the rest of the playoffs. All I gotta say. I don't want to see Kobe win, I don't want to see Mo Williams win, and I don't want to see Rafer Alston win. I'm fine with everyone on the Nuggets. Lets go NUGGETS!
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Well, we fought til the end. The team was tired and undermanned. Ainge has some big decisions this summer. Let's not repeat the same mistakes.

Thanks Celtics for all the effort and the guts displayed throughout a tough season

I go to bed at 4:42 in Europe, disappointed but always Green.

Goodnight fellas

Goodnight man. PRIDE!

And as Pierce said "We 're still the champs till someone knocks us out"
We're not the champs anymore but... but, I'm still with the team... I'm very frustrated at the moment by the way we lost, but I'll never abandon this team!!
This year made me realize how much of a Celtic I am, and I can clearly say that, right now, I feel "more of a Celtic" than ever!! The adversity this year was something else, I hope no other team will ever face as many problems as we had this year, even God doesn't want it...
I wanted us to lose against the future champions, the Cavs, but life is tough!! :-[
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

They just ran out of steam.  A very disappointing end to the season but they got a lot farther on pure heart and will than most people gave them credit for.

I'm pulling for the Magic and the Nuggets now.  Being a Floridian, I have to pull for the Magic, (unless they are playing the Celtics, of course).  And anyone playing the Lakers is my second favorite team.

Hopefully they can all get healthy and go for it again next season.

positive spin: at least we won't get demolished by cleveland.
Dunno if you were kidding or not, but I do think that's a big plus.

In our current state, we couldn't beat a kid with a stick. I'm glad we went down fighting (or kicking and screaming... aaanyway :D)

This season has taught us a lot though. We can win without KG. We do have a future, in Rondo, Baby. We were dangerous, even though we were very, very heavily handicapped.

I'm proud I became a C, even today, I'm a proud Celtic fan.

Now lets trade Tony, Gabe and Miki for some bigs.

I'm cheering for the Cavs, and/or the Nugs ;)

  • Yup
Yeah, I'm all aboard the Nuggest bandwagon now.  Chauncey Billups -- once a C, always a C.

Detroit traded the one guy on their team I had a lot of respect for.  Go get'em Chauncy, our torch is [temporarily] passed to you.

I was thinking of the Chauncey ex-Celt line of thought, but really Delonte has a better claim to that.

I just like the Nuggets team better, and would like to seem them knock off the Lakers and Cavs.
Yup

  • Thank you Eddie!
Can someone start game threads for every game in the WCF in this forum?  While we're at it, this site should become "NuggetsBlog" for a day if their series goes 7.    ;)
