Time to cheer for Cleveland beating the Lakers in the Finals.  Kobe losing that huge matchup would severely hurt what is an already somewhat diminishing legacy.

well...seeing that i am a cincinnati reds fan...i am heading into sports hibernation until college and pro football....there is no more must see TV now the C's are done. tough week in boston...the Cs and Bruins both bounced in 7....at home :-\

Great season guys. Gonna miss talking in the game thread. Too bad about the injuries to KG and Powe, but hey, we lost to a great team. Would have loved to see us advanced.

Agreed.  Not so much about the Chauncey comment haha.  But they are my team now for the reset of these playoffs.  Upmost respect for Billups, more or less a Melo fan, huge fan of the birdman, and they're just a really fun team to watch.

End of the season. Surprisingly, I'm not even mad or frustrated. I accepted the idea that this was the end of our season when Orlando made this late run. They were the better team and they ultimately prevailed, they showed some guts and triumphed in the money time where they are supposed to fail. Congrats to them.

Thank you Celtics for this amazing playoffs run, I'll remember it with pride. You've gone far without KG. I'm proud of this team. Yeah, it hurts to lose at home like this in a game 7 but our guys did their best and ultimately all our known weaknesses killed us (lack of defense, poor rebounding...) as expected.

The only thing that makes me mad is that Barkley and Ewing got right with their predictions.

I can't believe this is goodbye.

This team is the only thing in the world that can break my heart while having me be proud of them and love them at the same time.

Despite what it might feel like now, next year does exist.  A nice reEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.l summer might be just what this team needs right now.
