I'm really tired of discussing his wildly inconsistent play.
But if you think he didn't sit for six minutes in the first half for a reason ...
Average is a VERY charitable characterization of an effort that would have me blistering my point guard at halftime - at a decidedly lower level of basketball. Effort isn't a negotiable point with me; it either happens, or I'm gonna bury a kid on the bench.
Still, he didn´t have a lot of opprtunities to give it back to Alston.
I agree, he has shown a lack of effort on that particular play. However, we can´t expect Rondo to dominate every game (or series).
I don´t want to play the 23-year-old-card, but it is what it is.
Rafer is a wily thug of a streetballer, and Rose is a Rookie.
I expect Pierce to step it up in the second and win this game for us.
I'm not getting my point across here.
Results don't bother me. A lack of effort does.
The young man is being paid millions. There is no acceptable excuse for a lack of effort.
None. Not age. Not a veteran point. There's no excuse at all for a lack of effort.
I get what you mean, but I´m telling you, there was no stretch in the game where Rondo had an opportunity to get into the flow of the game. Whenever he had a good posession, the ball was in Pierce´ hands on the next.
Rondo is not the only player in the nba who blows a defensive play here and there.
I honestly expect him to play better in the second half.
