I'm really tired of discussing his wildly inconsistent play.

But if you think he didn't sit for six minutes in the first half for a reason ...

Average is a VERY charitable characterization of an effort that would have me blistering my point guard at halftime - at a decidedly lower level of basketball. Effort isn't a negotiable point with me; it either happens, or I'm gonna bury a kid on the bench.

Still, he didn´t have a lot of opprtunities to give it back to Alston.
I agree, he has shown a lack of effort on that particular play. However, we can´t expect Rondo to dominate every game (or series).

I don´t want to play the 23-year-old-card, but it is what it is.
Rafer is a wily thug of a streetballer, and Rose is a Rookie.

I expect Pierce to step it up in the second and win this game for us.

I'm not getting my point across here.

Results don't bother me. A lack of effort does.

The young man is being paid millions. There is no acceptable excuse for a lack of effort.

None. Not age. Not a veteran point. There's no excuse at all for a lack of effort.

I get what you mean, but I´m telling you, there was no stretch in the game where Rondo had an opportunity to get into the flow of the game. Whenever he had a good posession, the ball was in Pierce´ hands on the next.

Rondo is not the only player in the nba who blows a defensive play here and there.
I honestly expect him to play better in the second half.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Enough with the [dang] 3's, stop shooting bad ones and start defending wide open ones.

Need the D to step up to get over the hump.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Back up by 7. Can someone tell the Celtics that Orlando WILL shoot an open 3, theres literally 1 person on the team that doesn't shoot three's... he's the one doing deadlifts in the paint.

You can't stop executing every time you close down the lead. It's not going to work.

This team is so frustrating.

It took them what seemed like 10 minutes of game time to get over the hump of getting the deficit to single digits.

Now we've had countless opportunities to tie the game or get within a single possession and we can't do it.

I understand Ray has actually showed up in this game and he's probably excited and just wants to shoot everything and anything...but he can't.  He can't start forcing bad shots like that last missed 3.
