Barkley needs to find a way for Dwight to really pull his hamstring for this game.

I think our expectations are a little bit high when it comes to Rondo.
I actually think he had an average game, so far.

Most of the offense ran through Pierce, he had some nice passes, but some bad mistakes on defense.

All in all, average, imo.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Truth should have jammed that.

didn't have time, did he ?

Unfortunately, Pauls legs are spent, and his back, I suspect, has been hurtin', etc.

Well we showed some life there at the end of the half,on D, but still taking to long for the play(s)(Rays open 3)off the inside dish from Rondo. Tired and spent runnin' on fumes has our D effort being weak and we're trying to win on the offensive end, and that's not our strenth, especially starting 10 down from the 1st(shakes head).

Coach Bo is right, this is no longer a defensive team, due to our depleations and being spent of energy due to heavy minutes of the shallow lineup!

But it ain't at all over yet!!!

We could still beat this team on offense and intermittent defensive efforts!

Let's Go Celtics!!!
"Indefatigable on Defense, defines these Celtics"

I expect every point guard to play defense, and not walk away after you get picked.

I'm really tired of discussing his wildly inconsistent play.

But if you think he didn't sit for six minutes in the first half for a reason ...

Average is a VERY charitable characterization of an effort that would have me blistering my point guard at halftime - at a decidedly lower level of basketball. Effort isn't a negotiable point with me; it either happens, or I'm gonna bury a kid on the bench.

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I've read on ESPN that Rondo arrived at the arena at 6:55 pm, maybe he didn't have a good pregame routine... or he just decided to play poorly tonight, who knows with him? ???

I would like to see more Marbury (minus his turnovers).

Again? It happened a similar thing a few games ago, if I'm not mistaken. What's up with this Rondo arriving late to playoff games stuff?

The thing that people don't understand is, this isn't something Rondo is just going to snap out of all of a sudden. Doc needs to throw him on the bench and make a point. That is how you get young players like him to play right, threaten them with not playing.

Let's take an eraser to the first half.  New game, better effort in the second half--but I'll keep all the fouls on Howard and Turkoglu.  Let's go Celtics!!!
