I can't believe I couldn't find a pic on google of the patented McHale/Walton high-five/hug combo.  Always awkward, always uncoordinated, always a good time.

The first thing I thought was "It's ok when they were going to go for the butt slap, but decided not to"

Then I got to thinking

When is it ok for the man hug?

We need some serious Miller roundtable discussions on this.

Think about it. The high five is played out. What do we do? Personally I find the fist pump a very good potential replacement.

But as for man hugs I present the following as the only appropriate times

You are trying to show a hot chick you are really comfortable with your masculinity cause you know she digs that

You are a college team that has just beaten the Soviets in Olympic hockey

You have thrown a no-hitter

You broke some sort of major record

You just got out of jail (ironically)

You just won a large amount of money

You just won a championship

You thought the guy was a hot chick and you just made an honest once in a lifetime mistake and you will be more careful from now on

and sudenly one of the kissed girls is a guy who is staring at you like

remember it was just a momentum thing when your unconcious never realize he was a guy and
