perk gets suspended then the series is over....not whining...not being negative...being a realist....i love the celtics as much as the next guy on this board but i know they are on borrowed time and have no room for errors...the perk elbow was a HUGE swing...i actually think boston will play well in game 4 with perk...but without him....very tough...we blow them out...they blow us out....

Agree 100 percent, and based on what I saw, it is going to be tough for Jackson to not suspend him. He is suspended and the series is over. If he plays, C's still in it.

to most we shouldnt have made it THIS far without kg~

any thing possible and i cant wait till sunday

Looks like the C's just ran out of steam. Paul whenever you want to wake up and start playing we can move on beyond this mediocre team, until then get used to this.

But at least we got home court!

(sorry, just had to throw that in there)

I'm sorry you aren't watching the game, but Pierce has been our best player tonight.

In fact, he's having a much better first two series than he had last season.

I am assuming your comments are directed at me since I am the one that mentioned Paul's game, if not sorry, if so that's just a silly comment. I am indeed watching the game, and I am not enjoying it, if you think Paul has had a good series then I am sorry, we disagree quite a bit. Yes he is scoring right now at the end of the game when they are down 20, but until he starts playing from the jump he is putting this team behind the eight ball. Just keep the comments related to the game no need to insult people.

Who have I insulted? Are you accusing me of insulting anyone? Please answer ASAP.

I'd recommend you to re-read my post. I said two things:
- Pierce was our best player tonight.
- he's playing better than he did last season in the first 2 series.

Apparently you read different things (that Pierce is having a good series).

I thought the comment was directed at me, but water off a ducks back, you know?  In any case I look forward to putting this game behind us.  Way way behind us.

Cheers and good night all.
Celtics fan for life.

so what is it going to be boston?  you going to man up or just go out like a punk? because so far in this series you haven't bothered playing your C games in two games....

Since after the break. At one point, he was 2-10, IIRC.

And why so?

Again, huh? He wa 2-10, what do you mean with "why"?
He didn`t hit several wide open shots,
I would agree with vinnie. House was our best player when on the court.

Several wide open shots? Which ones, can you be more precise? What I saw was him being doubled frequently whenever he got the ball.

No, I can not be more precise. Several shots in the first half.
What I said is what I saw.
Even if he was tripled, 2-10 is a number you can`t argue.

If you want to go solely by numbers, 27 points in 15 FGA is a number you can't argue. I mean, he played badly because he started slowly? That doesn't make sense.

Kobe Bryant: same elbow, no suspension. I don't see why a different measure should be applied to Perkins.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
It's funny how much the hostility increases in these threads whenever there is a blowout, can't wait to forget this game and watch the C's win on Sunday.

Pretty pathetic effort tonight, just have to play 48 minutes, can not take quarters off in the playoffs, and must match intensities. Hopefully Perk wont be suspended, but expect SVG to be lobbying and crying non stop for him to be suspended. I really don't like him.

Sunday's game comes down to the review of Perkins' foul. I do not feel good about it. That was a forearm shiver to the throat of Pietrus. He is going to get suspended.

I would probably agree with you, the only saving grace Perk has is that he wasn't looking at him when he did it, so you could make the argument, albeit a weak one, that it was accidental. It's different from Alston's which was 100% intentional, even though it was weak it was more of a disciplinary thing, you really can't have guy slapping each other and thinking it's OK, so if SVG tries to compare the two, and he will, there is really no similarity.

At or over the throat.

Can't believe Walker missed that dunk! That would have made my night!  :'(

I thought he was a lottery pick if not for the knee problems? His knees look fine to me. Give him some run. Rashard Lewis isn't that much bigger than him at the 4.

Isn't walker like 6' 4" 6' 5"? Lewis is 6' "10.. Walker should not see the court in this playoffs

Walker's 6'6", but more rugged than Lewis and a leaper. he played the 4 last yr. I'd say he's as much a 4 as Lewis, if not more.

I thought he looked at him, turned around, and then threw the elbow... it doesn't look very accidental since the time between the initial look and the elbow is so short.

Again, all the 3 of them?

Pierce played bad because, from your perspective, he missed 3 wide open shots? 2 of them being contested triples?

Is this serious?

Well, considering all the talk about fatigue, one could argue that if you get too far behind, it costs a lot of energy to come back. It is definitly more pressure on you, you can´t dictate the tempo of a game as much as you might want, several little things.

And I can argue 27 on 15 FGA, since fouled shots don´t count as an attempt.
I don´t want to throw dirt at Pierce, he was great in the second half, but he got most of his points on free throws when we were behind 20, which is when refs start to give you some calls anyway.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
