This Dwight-Howard-Lovefest is painful to watch.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

game over

every gm you're like this. Sorry, but I feel like you're a Lakers troll sometimes.

Random thought Dwight Howard really isn't that good, he's just really tall and strong.

I was thinking the same thing earlier.  Makes me laugh to think that Charles Barkley said that Perk couldnt guard Dwight Howard.  All you need is someone remotely as strong as him to be able to force him farther than 2 feet from the basket and it dramatically lowers his effectiveness.  At least on offense, hes still been a beast on defense, we need to make him pay for roaming around.
sure he's pretty overrated aside from the fact he's unquestionably the most dominant big man in the league...

hes the most dominant big man on the defensive end in the league.  Im sorry we dont agree, I just cant help but question the effectiveness of a guy on offense who gets all his points off of dunks.
you picked a bad night to disagree with common logic.  Dwight Howard is killing us on both ends tonight.  You are misunderstanding Perk's effectiveness limiting Dwight with Dwight's ability.  Dwight is dominant... and when he drops 30+ on us tonight you'll see it.

Yeah, because everybody knows that the dunk is a shot with little to none effectiveness. He should be taking 20 ft fadeways.

as little effort as pierce is making on offense, he's making NO effort on defense.

He did goaltend on that one. It was clear. But does it really matter, given that so far the Celtics have given no indication that they have any interest in playing tonight? Putrid and disappointing to say the least.

  • Never stop believing baby!
He's had like 2 goaltends tonight, I don't think they will ever call that on him in this series
Let's go C's!!!

That shot that Howard goaltended was obviously on the way down.

Why does NBA officiating suck so badly?
Dwight Howard goaltend -- he blocks.

LeBron doesn't miss -- he gets fouled.

And officiating doesn't suck -- it does exactly what the national "pundits" expect it to do. Or you'd think that whoever is calling the games on national TV would notice an atrocious call once in a while.

Interesting that Doc is staying relatively calm through this.

This is such a thoroughly bad fundamental defensive performance that it's not interesting to watch.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Stop blaming every game on the refs.  Our defense has been horrible tonight.
