Just heard this on ESPN -- apparently was broken by the LA times, and will be officially announced later today. Fun stuff.

Manny probably thought they were Flintstones vitamins.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Wow, Jose was right again.  Of course he though Manny's name was on the "list" that A-Rod's was, but close enough.

This one honestly suprised me, did not see it coming with him. But it was weird how he went from declining some on the Sox to suddenly becoming the Manny of old when he got to LA. Id have to assume he took it at points in Boston too, [dang] lol.

THis is huge.

According to Peter May on ESPN, this wasn't a steroid issue.  He was given something to treat injury that violates the league substance abuse policy (which is incredibly strict) but it is NOT an Arod situation...

It is becoming more and more clear that pretty much everyone jucies, or at sometime juiced in MLB.

Same here.  I'm pretty disappointed, too.  Outside of his antics last season, I always liked Manny.

It's amazing, the number of guys who are going to be kept out of the Hall of Fame if selectors stick to their guns.  A-rod, Bonds, Clemens, Manny...

Greg Maddux and Ken Griffey, Jr. are looking more and more like the best players of their era.

Thats the spin, its not clear right now what the exact situation. A lot of medicines that "trigger" positive tests do so because they would mask a lot of PEDs.

By the time they're done finding guys Mike Maddux is going to look like a Hall of Famer

Wow, that one really surprised me as well. That is truly sad and now all Yankee fans are breathing one big sigh of relief about Arod now. I guess my tirades vs. Aroid will have to stop for now.

Will they ever clean Baseball up completely?

I can't imagine any teams out there that do not have at least one player doing something.
