Did the team just decide not to defend the 3 tonight?  "hey, we're against the best 3 point shooting team in the league, let's allow them to take open shots."

You know what, you will all hate me for saying this, but if it's gonna be a short series I hope the Magic win in 4 games so they have a better chance of beating Cleveland.  If the Hawks somehow take it to 6 or 7 games then the Magic will have a good advantage.

Anybody else tired of people hoping the celtics lose?  If we lose I don't really care what happens next.  I'm in it for the celts win.  I would rather lose in 7 and have the magic lose in 4 to the cavs than lose in 4 and have them beat the magic.  I'm not into helping other teams.  All this hoping the Celts lose is for the fairweather fan.

I'm with you. I'm sick of all the, well at least we had 1 good series, or we have nothing left in the tank, lets not bother trying and just give up.  Or like you said with oh well the Magic sweep so they have a better change.  It ticks me off like no other.

  • Rondo = Good
If we somehow manage to lose by 10 or less then I won't count us totally out of it yet.  But like I said earlier, 15 points or more for the loss and this is going to be 4-5 games.

How does a professional basketball player show up right before tip off to a play-off game? The announcer's just said that's what Rondo did.

Sorry, I love the Celtics, but I understand they aren't winning it all this year, especially after this game.  So my next goal is to hope that A) The Cavs don't win and then b) the Lakers don't win.  So yeah, if we're not going on, my rooting hopes are going to go along those lines.

Root for them once we get there.  If the Celts are still in it, I want them to win.  Scheming to help the magic is beyond my fandom.  I get no kicks from them winning.

orlando is a one trick pony - if they shoot the 3 well, they usually win. that we fell asleep for about a quarter helped, too. hopefully we can make this a game.

This is the best game I've ever seen Pietrus shoot. I guarantee, he won't ever shoot like this again.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

You should listen better. One hour before tipo-ff is not "right before tip-off".

When someone like Mikeal Pietrus is shooting 5 for 8, you know you have no chance.
