How does a professional basketball player show up right before tip off to a play-off game? The announcer's just said that's what Rondo did.

Better be a good reason. His play has been atrocious.

Fine him. The maximum.

That kind of behavior, if true, is absolutely unacceptable for a professional.

Period. What's the maximum fine?
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Ugh, this game is going to be even more frustrating if this teasing keeps happening.  Get it to 16, then boom Pietrus hits another 3...Just get it to 5, or lose by 25.  Stop teasing me thinking we can actually get back in this.

Wow they cannot miss a 3 tonight

yep, even Pietrus is hitting 3s, this is ridiculous...

And he did finish...

C'S CANNOT STRING TOGETHER DEFENSIVE STOPS...too many good shooter for orlando...this tonight is why you make howard beat you.....boston has decided to double down on him leaving the magic shooter wide open for 3....dumb

I'm not Doc or Thibs but yeah, going into the game I figured we have a better chance letting Perk do his best on Howard.

If we somehow manage to lose by 10 or less then I won't count us totally out of it yet.  But like I said earlier, 15 points or more for the loss and this is going to be 4-5 games.

How does a 5 point difference change anything?  Losing by 30 tells me no more than if we lost by 10.  A loss is a loss and teams have come back from blowouts before.  In 2005 we killed indiana in game one and lost in 7.  The celts were massacred by the lake show in 84 and came back and one the series.  A blowout does not mean anything!  So we lose and comeback and win next game.  What does that tell you?

I read an article this weekend about him showing up just b4 tipoff due to traffic

Paul needs to shoot 100 free throws before every game.  He's really lost his touch from the line.

Did the team just decide not to defend the 3 tonight?  "hey, we're against the best 3 point shooting team in the league, let's allow them to take open shots."

You know what, you will all hate me for saying this, but if it's gonna be a short series I hope the Magic win in 4 games so they have a better chance of beating Cleveland.  If the Hawks somehow take it to 6 or 7 games then the Magic will have a good advantage.

Anybody else tired of people hoping the celtics lose?  If we lose I don't really care what happens next.  I'm in it for the celts win.  I would rather lose in 7 and have the magic lose in 4 to the cavs than lose in 4 and have them beat the magic.  I'm not into helping other teams.  All this hoping the Celts lose is for the fairweather fan.

I'm with you. I'm sick of all the, well at least we had 1 good series, or we have nothing left in the tank, lets not bother trying and just give up.  Or like you said with oh well the Magic sweep so they have a better change.  It ticks me off like no other.

Yeah especially since we're not even done with game 1 yet.
