Celtics:17-3 All-Time in the NBA finals. 75 Finals wins. 32-0 when up 3-2 in a series, greatest playoff comeback ever 26. Largest title clinching game 39. Most wins from previous year:58. Down 3-1 shocked the world against Philly in 1981.   Cavs:0 Finals wins and a guy who has 6 less championship rings than MJ.   Do you really need me to get your confidence up?   Larry Bird, and Kevin Garnett isn't enough.   How about Big Baby then.  Do you think he has confidence in himself?

star18, we get it...you don't like the cavs. most of us aren't exactly huge fans, and i'd say almost all of us think the way lebron is allowed to play by the refs is a travesty to the game. but give them their due, they swept two teams, winning convincingly in almost every game. admittedly, the pistons and hawks weren't all that good, and they played very uninspired, but that's not cleveland's fault. now, if we beat orlando, we will not be intimidated by cleveland, and will work all game long against them. but unless pierce magically gets fresh legs, ray allen absolutely goes off, and the refs call the games consistently, we have no chance against them. we simply do not have the bodies to win. healthy, sure...but we 'ain't close to healthy. i also don't see teams winning in cleveland this postseason - they play incredible there, and refs there might as well be wearing lebron jerseys.

no chance now that is crazy. We can win no problem, probably 6 games.  Don't look at the games on paper, that would be silly to underestimate the heart of a champion.   I do like the Cavs, I just don't like how people go by what announcers and media people say and don't judge the games for themselves.  ESPN last year had 9 out of 10 anylysts pick Lakers over Celtics, and only Legler picked Celtics in 7 and he was still wrong.  I'm suprised we didn't win it in 4, and we could have swept the series 7-0.  I knew it was all over, same thing this year, just celebrate and have confidence you are a Boston Celtics. No Chance? Tell that to Larry Bird. This team never has no chance.

Nobody has yet to give me an impressive win by the Cavs in their last 53 games, because there isn't any. Honestly go look at the box scores. Where do you people get the word machine from. A Lebron commercial? Go by what happens on the court and what teams you are playing not what adjectives Stuart Scott uses.

The big difference between last year and this year is that unlike last year, LeBron is playing like he cares almost all the time and our team is not close to 100%.  I don't like the guy's massive ego and the refs giving him every call either, but you have to give credit where credit is due.  It's a rule for real life, not just sports.

What's the criteria for an impressive win?  In the last 2+ weeks of the season, they beat Dallas by 28, San Antonio by 20, and Boston by 31.  None of those wins were even slightly impressive?

Lebron is just a little better than last year that's all, no big deal. At home against Dallas with no Josh Howard, no. At home against Spurs Ginobli out for entire season next day, Duncan hobbling, no. Boston after clinching home court nothing to play for, no.  Try again.  As for us you don't even have to go 24 hours. Big Baby wins it at Orlando.

When Orlando doesn't have Jameer Nelson.  Try again.

You can't discount the wins of one team without offering equal treatment.

Hypothetical negative TP.  They show up to play every night like the C's did last year.  They could have sat back and taken a few nights off against teams that were hurt or had nothing to play for, but they didn't.  You don't have to like the star player, but you have to respect the effort.

Wrong. We have no KG. If we had KG, or they were missing Dwight Howard I would agree. Everybody else was in there, on their home floor.  Very impressive win.

Just stop arguing with this guy.  He's going to make up excuses for every point used against him.

Tell me this, Star:  In the event that we're beaten by Cleveland in the ECF, will you be man enough to admit that you're wrong?  Or are you going to change your tune and whine about how we have no KG or Powe?  You can't fault a team for winning games they're supposed to win.  This isn't college football.

So, despite Cleveland being 8-0, and Boston being 6-5, am I to surmise that Boston has had the more "impressive" post-season?

Yes they have a more impressive post season. Playing close games which will be key down the stretch, Playing much tougher opponents with much bigger hearts not backing down whatsoever. And yes if the Cavs beat Celtics this year(yeah right)I will admit they are a better team. Not going to complain about KG. They give out crowns at Burger King, otherwise you have to earn them.
