Sorry running the exact same play 20-30 times in a game where all 10 players stand for 10 to 15 seconds is not talent. Make 4 or 5 passes get 3 or 4 players to touch the ball. Its Game 3 against the Hawks get your teammattes involved its not Game 5 of the Finals. Why are you runinng plays in the 1st & 2nd Qtrs against the Hawks, like its Game 7 of the Finals. If your teammattes are outscoring you by 5 points in a game in a series against a hobbled Hawks team that has very little chance to win, come crunch time your teammattes are going to look lost and you won't win the game. Cavs could have easily won this game with Delonte, Z, Varrjeo & Mo all having close to 20 points.  Heart over talent all day.

Lebron was told at halftime by his coach to take over the game because their offense wasn't working.

Also, if you can run the same play 20-30 times in a game and still win, more power to you.  That is all

To be fair, his point was not about whether you can win running the same play 20-30 times, but whether that is entertaining.

Leaving team allegiances aside, I'd much rather see a Denver game than a Cavs game, because despite how good the cavs are, and despite how good Lebron is, 1-on-5 basketball sucks.

Its not impressive, or entertaining. Other Cavs players didn't even touch the ball until there was 8 seconds or less on the shot clock. Also, Lebron never got a pass inside the 3 point line. Whatever Mike Brown said, if you need Lebron to "takeover" Game 3 against the injured and lethargic Hawks that is pretty sad. Their offense wasn't working because nobody except for Lebron was handling the ball, and it wasn't just the 2nd half that was happening, it was the first half too. It got so pathetic late in the game that Lebron was dribbling until he got Mike Bibby to switch on him, then the 6'8 Lebron was hitting jumpers over the 6'1 Bibby and we are supposed to be in awe? I don't think so.

I'm in awe that one guy can beat an entire Hawks team.  The same Hawks team that took a full strength Boston to 7 games last year.

Its not the same Hawks team. JJ, Horford and Marvin all have ankle injuries. Its not the 1st round of the playoffs, its the 2nd. One guy isn't beating Houston/Orlando/LA/Denver/Boston. All the Cavs have done differently than Boston is beat ATL in Game 3. Boston won big at home in all 4 games.

We were in a funk for whatever reason come playoff time last year, dont really think its a fair comparison. Hawks had no expectation last year and were able to play lose. This year is different for them. Your team raod to the finals is a complete joke. SO you swept a psitons team that would have rather been golfing and now you are playing an atl team that is injured and not playing well.

Complain all you want.  The Cavs had the best record in the league.  They won the right to have the easiest path to the finals.

So last year when the Celtics won 66 games and homecourt, they beat the Cavs the 3rd or 4th best team in the league that year in the 2nd round. You think that is the easiest path to the finals?

All 26 games the Celtics played in last years playoffs had tougher opponents than any of Cavs 7 playoff games this year. Actually if you include the 11 they played this year that is 37 tougher playoff games than any of the Cavs 7 this year. If you would rank the opponents it would go like this. Toughest schedule 1-37:ATL,CLE,DET,LA,CHI,ORL. 38-44:DET(golfing),ATL(injured).

dont get fact mixed with complaint. Yes they did earn the right, but it doesnt reflect on team vs team  from a year ago. If you want to talk in those terms then font forget to mention what crew is responsable for the biggest record improvement in nba history.

Im not taking anything away from the Cavs but i wish their road was as tough to climb to the finals as our were last season. There playoff series so far has been sort of easy...maybe that will work aganist them before its all said and done.

They've been making their path easy.

I wouldn't want Lebron on the Celtics because he is not Celtics basketball. I want team basketball with multiple stars. I don't want one guy and a bunch of people playing 2nd fiddle. Basketball is not a 1 on 1 game, it is 5 on 5.

I agree. And Lebron on the Celtics is a waste of Rajon's talents.

Yeah, and one also has to consider that as a backup wing he'd steal minutes from Walker, delaying his development. That's another major no-no from me.

Yup.  And instead of taking 14 games to get past the first two rounds, they'll have taken 8 (9 at most if Atlanta can pull their head out of their butts)

Of course the Cavs never had to face anyone as tough as the Celts did with `08 Cavs in the first 2 rounds.

I'm willing to give the Cavs their props.
Yup
