Did you hear them talking about how we CANT play Stephon and Eddie together deeper in the playoffs? ESPN doesn't really know anything that isn't seen in a boxscore or minute and a half long game recap.

That's how you can tell a lazy announcer who doesn't prepare -- looks like we have two of them for this game.

Don't you think they may have a point?

 ???

He say that every time we lose. Obviously a bandwagoner.

Bet you're gonna say that same thing if the Bruins lose tonight, huh?

Yeah the way some of the fair-weather fans are on this board is ridiculous. We played a bad half... it happens. Even if we lose this game, I still DEFINITELY believe we will beat the Bulls.

But, like I just posted, idk if we can beat the Magic without KG, and that statement has absolutely nothing to do with the terrible half we just played.

Word. Expect tons of overreaction threads if we lose game 1.

problem is you don't want to give a young team confidence...we saw what happened in atlanta...to me...you can't win the series in game one but you can take big steps to losing it...esp if you give up home court....

no, there talking about that lineup as if its backfired on us, it's part of the reason why we were still winning without KG. Stephon can run the second unit flawlessly, he just needs to get his shots.

other than rondo...boston looks slow and unfocused....can't just show up and expect to win...maybe the KG news took more out of them than we thought...they need to make a statement in the third

  • Thank you Eddie!
Sigh... They're never awake for these early games, so naturally the NBA decides to give them two in the first round.

No.  Marbury/Eddie is an excellent 2nd unit guard combo.  Give it time.

I would seriously bank on it.

yall remember Wade as a rookie?  He was good during the regular season... but once he got to the playoffs everyone started going "wow"...

Nice to finally meet you, Rose.

no problem with the second unit...problem is transition defense and the 2 best players can't make a basket....

give Perk his recognition as well. he avg's 12 a game and already has 8 on 4-6 shooting, they need to find a way to get him alone down low with Noah so he can exploit him.

I'm really unhappy with the boos which I hope was directed at the Bulls. Unless its a totally different crowd that cheered on Wednesday when Pierce asked for support in the playoffs.

Yeah the first half wasn't pretty but that's why there are 4 quarters. Maybe its just me but isn't cheering a comeback  more satisfying than prematurely booing and lowering the team's spirit?

Well, Garnett is on the floor (technically) so I'm here to say that when the team I love plays like that it makes me sick.  That final play where Perk and others stood and watched Miller just gather the rebound and put it back like we just wanted to go to the locker room and sulk makes me want to be buried alive.

Paul and Ray are still at home asleep physically and emotionally.  There IS no excuse. KG could have played 8 to 10 minutes in that half and it wouldn't matter.  Horrible.
